Low on confidence and with limited higher education, Indya came to OCTEC Transition to Work Tolland hoping to get herself on track towards alternative employment. She had a passion for hairdressing and wanted to run her own business one day.
Career Consultant Neisha helped Indya enrol in a Certificate III in Business through OCTEC Training Services, with the aim of boosting her confidence and expanding her skills. After completing the course and trying to find work, Indya secured a hairdressing apprenticeship with local business Vibe Studio Hair .
Indya is currently enjoying her job, continuing to follow her dream and career goals. She loves learning new techniques from her experienced colleagues and appreciates the supportive environment that Vibe Studio Hair provides.
Each day, Indya grows more confident in her skills and abilities.
